“African Americans of St. Lawrence County: North Country Pioneers”

In celebration of Black History Month, Bryan Thompson, author of “African Americans of St. Lawrence County: North Country Pioneers” will give a reading of excerpts from his book. Mr. Thompson, the Town of De Kalb Historian, is a seventh-generation resident of St. Lawrence County. He has written more than 50 articles on local history. Mr. Thompson spent over fifteen years researching his book. The reading will be presented at the Ogdensburg Public Library, Wednesday, February nineteenth at 6 PM. Mr. Thompson will be available to sign copies of his book following the presentation.
