Lunar New Year Dumpling Making

Children and families are invited to celebrate the traditions of the Year of the Horse at the North Country Children’s Museum, 10 Raymond St., on Saturday, Feb. 21 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Celebrate Lunar New Year with hands-on crafts and a cooking experience, learning to prepare and taste jiaozi (dumplings). The Lunar New Year is a major festival celebrated across many Asian cultures to mark the beginning of the new year based on the lunisolar calendar. Led by Zia Lu and Jianhua Zhang, the event is included with the price of admission or membership.
