USPS Reveals Final Shipping Dates for Mother’s Day 2026 with 2 Key Deadlines

With just weeks to go until Mother’s Day which is on May 10 this year, there’s still plenty of time to send off cards and gifts.

If you send something via USPS priority mail, you should aim to send it off by May 6.

It will take around one and two days to arrive, which would see it delivered on May 8, two days before Mothering Sunday.

However, if you choose to send something using USPS first class, it should be shipped by May 1 for guaranteed delivery.

The service takes between two and five days on average, and so would then be delivered by May 8.

The United Parcel Service (UPS) are also offering delivery, but there are a few points to note.

There is no pickup or delivery service operating on May 10, while several store locations may be closed.

Customers can go also online to check the specific hours operation of their local branch.
