Norwood Harvest Festival

The village of Norwood will celebrate America’s 250th anniversary and the 55th anniversary of the Harvest Festival with an Americana theme, “Harvest Days and Hometown Ways.” The festival will be held on the Norwood Village Green Saturday. Activities from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. include craft vendors, food trucks, pumpkin painting with Kris Rozelle, pumpkin games sponsored by area churches and a youth musical showcase organized by Michelle Garrow. An old-fashioned cakewalk is set for 1 p.m. Other activities include bobbing for apples and donuts on a string. Festivities resume at 5 p.m. with a Norwood Fire Department chicken BBQ dinner and apple pie. Free hayrides will available.
