book sales
The Program Committee of the Ogdensburg Public Library is excited to announce two
book sales to be held during Seaway Festival week. On Wednesday, July 23, an Antique and Unique
Sale will be held in the library auditorium from 12:00 pm to 6 pm. These are books which may be
old, rare, or valuable. Each will sell for the price marked. Prices range from $5.00 to several
hundred dollars; cash or good checks will be accepted. There are some real treasures,
so come have a look. On Thursday, July 24 a paperback book sale will be held on the front lawn of
the library from 10 am to 2 pm. In case of weather, it will be in the auditorium. There is a wide
variety of authors and some children’s books will be included, too. Come to this sale for
great summer reading at a bargain. If these don’t fill your wish list, the Friends bookstore is open
during library hours.
