The North Country Children’s Museum will host a special Puppet Making Workshop on Friday, April 26, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., offering children and families a chance to explore the art of puppetry in a fun, hands-on setting. Led by puppet maker Wendy Clark, this engaging workshop will introduce participants to the process of puppet making and guide them in creating their own cloth puppet from start to finish.
During the workshop, children will learn how puppets are constructed and will then have the opportunity to sew and decorate a puppet of their choice—selecting from a dog, cat, or bear design. Each participant will leave with their handmade puppet to continue the fun and storytelling at home. The program provides an opportunity for kids to engage in imaginative play while learning hands-on skills.
The cost of the workshop is $5 per participant, which includes all necessary materials. Space is limited, and advance registration is required.
