The North Country Children’s Museum will present its very first Kids’ Stage Production, The Witch’s Revenge

The North Country Children’s Museum will present its very first Kids’ Stage Production, The Witch’s Revenge, on Saturday, October 18th from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM in Addie’s Opera House on the museum’s newly renovated second floor. The Children’s Museum is located at 10 Raymond Street in downtown Potsdam.

This original, family-friendly Halloween production invites children of all ages to join the fun on stage or as an audience member and experience the magic of live theater. The performance is free with museum admission and membership.

The Witch’s Revenge marks the debut production of NCCM’s new Youth Theater Program, an initiative designed to provide high-quality, year-round theater education for children ages 12 and under and their families throughout the region. The program is led by Claire Derriennic, an educator and theater-maker for young audiences with an MFA in Drama and Theatre for Youth. Derriennic brings international experience creating original theater for children in schools, museums, and community settings.

The Youth Theater Programming is made possible through a $10,000 grant from the VanNess Fund of the Northern New York Community Foundation. This support enables NCCM to expand its mission of fostering creativity, learning, and community engagement through the arts. This grant is made possible because of the generosity of donors devoted to helping enhance the quality of life in our region through the Northern New York Community Foundation.
