The Norwood Lake Association is hosting a Mother's and Father's Day Pancake Breakfast Sunday, June 1, from 8:30 a.m. to Noon. The breakfast will be held at Norwood American Legion, 10 Elm St. Cost is: $14, adults; $10, 6-12 years; free, under 5.  

Brier Hill Volunteer Fire Department will host a chicken BBQ at 2678 State Highway 37 on June 1 at 4 p.m. Menu includes a half chicken, salt potatoes, baked beans, coleslaw, and dessert for $15 per dinner or $10 for a half chicken.
