DESCRIPTION:The Potsdam Chamber of Commerce will host a Community Clean-Up Day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday April 25th  starting at Ives Park. Volunteers will meet at 9 a.m. and be assigned cleanup areas. Light refreshments will be provided. Participants should bring gloves and tools if available; limited supplies will be on hand. Groups\, sports teams\, organizations encouraged to join.

SUMMARY:Frosty Fest
DESCRIPTION:The North Country Children’s Museum\, SLC Arts and the Potsdam Chamber of Commerce will host Frosty Fest\, Potsdam’s annual snowman competition\, at Ives Park Saturday January 31st. The free event will feature hot chocolate\, coffee\, cookies and s’mores\, along with a story walk by the Potsdam Public Library. There will be a fire pit and warmers. Registration begins at 11 a.m.\, judging starts at 12:30 p.m.\, and awards will be announced at 1 p.m. A “no” snow date is set for Feb. 7. Award categories will be offered for both kids and adults.
